Professor Stan Grant
Renowned journalist, author, philosopher, film maker and communicator

Stan Grant is a prominent Australian journalist, Author, and Academy, widely recognised for his work in promoting Indigenous rights and social justice. A proud Wiradjuri, Kamilaroi and Dharawal man, Grant has spent decades in media, both in Australia and internationally, with roles at major networks including ABC, SBS, CNN, and Sky News. His powerful storytelling and articulate advocacy have positioned him as one of the country’s most influential voices on race, identity, and reconciliation.
He is Director of Yindyamarra Nguluway at Charles Sturt University, leading national conversations about democracy, belonging, truth-telling, and justice that create a world worth living in. Other senior University roles have included Professor of Global Affairs at Griffith University and Vice-Chancellor’s Chair of Australian-Indigenous Belonging at Charles Sturt University. In 2023 he was elected a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, and in 2024 he earned a PhD in theology from Charles Sturt University for a thesis entitled Yindyamarra as theology: identity, history, violence, faith and reconciliation.

The Most Reverend Kay Maree Goldsworthy AO DD
Archbishop of perth, Metropolitan of the Province of Western Australia
Presenting "A Menu for Abundant Life" on Friday 31 July, 2026
Archbishop Kay was born in Melbourne. She was made Deaconess in 1984 and ordained Deacon in 1986. She was among the first women in Australia to be ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Peter Carnley in 1992.
Consecrated bishop in 2008, Archbishop Kay was Assistant Bishop in Perth before being elected as Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Gippsland in 2014.
In 2017, Archbishop Kay was elected as the Eighth Archbishop of Perth and Metropolitan of the Province of Western Australia. On 10 February 2018 she was installed as the first female Archbishop in the Anglican Church of Australia and became the first female Archbishop in the world.
Archbishop Kay was appointed an Officer of the Order of the Australia in 2017 and elected a Fellow of Trinity College, Melbourne, in May 2022. She was awarded a Doctor of Divinity honoris causa from the University of Divinity on 14 April 2024.’

mr Priyan Max Jeganathan
Senior Research Fellow Centre for Public Christianity
Presenting "The Audacity Of Sacrifice " on Thursday 30 July, 2026
Max is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Christianity (CPX). A former lawyer and political & policy adviser, Max was educated at the Australian National University and the University of Oxford and is undertaking a PhD in Law. Max has spoken in universities, political institutions and businesses including Samsung, Lego, Goldman Sachs and Amazon. His writing has appeared in The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Canberra Times and ABC’s Religion & Ethics Report. Max gave the keynote address at the 2024 National Prayer Breakfast at Parliament House, Canberra and his first book The Freedom Trap was released by Acorn Press in March 2025.
